Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Bill Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement personalized physical therapy programs for patients in a 130-bed rehab facility
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans and achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and home care activities
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and maintain accurate documentation
• Contribute to a positive, healing environment for both short-term and long-term rehab patients

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Experience in a rehab, long-term care, or similar setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, modalities, and treatment techniques
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Proficiency in documenting patient care in electronic medical records
• Team collaboration and patient education skills
• Time management and organizational abilities
