About the Role

You will be the right hand to our President, who runs the day-to-day business as the company's Integrator. His days are a mix of leadership team meetings, hiring, major supplier and customer relationships, financial oversight, and a steady stream of decisions that only he can make. Your job is to multiply his capacity: own his calendar and inbox, close loops on his behalf, keep commitments and deadlines from slipping, and make sure his time goes to the highest-value work.

This is not a task-taker role. We are looking for someone who operates with real autonomy: someone who can read a situation, make a judgment call, act on it, and tell us afterward. You will have direct access to the President's inbox and calendar, decision rules that let you act without asking, and the standing expectation that when something is handed to you, it is handled. And while the President is the center of this seat, you will work with the entire leadership team daily; as you ramp, you become a force multiplier for the whole room, not just one chair.

What You Will Own

• Calendar and priorities. Own the President's calendar end to end: scheduling, protecting focus time, preparing him for what is next, and making sure the week reflects the actual priorities.
• Inbox and follow-through. Triage the inbox, draft responses, and close loops directly. Many items need follow-through rather than a decision; you chase those to done across departments without being reminded.
• Deadlines and commitments. Track what the President has committed to, to whom, and by when. Nothing slips because nobody was watching.
• Meeting preparation and follow-up. Prep materials for leadership meetings, peer group sessions, and external meetings; capture action items and drive them to completion.
• Leadership team support. Run the administrative backbone of our EOS meeting cadence: L10 agendas and scorecards, quarterly and annual session logistics, and keeping leadership team to-dos and rocks visible and current. Every commitment made in that room stays owned by the person who made it; your job is making sure nothing gets forgotten, statuses are honest, and approaching deadlines get surfaced before they arrive. Over time, this grows into being a go-to coordination point for the leadership team on cross-department follow-through.
• Travel and logistics. Book and manage business travel and coordinate logistics for events, offsites, and visits.
• Personal scheduling and logistics. Support for the President includes a share of personal scheduling: appointments, family commitments on his calendar, and travel that blends work and family. He has five kids and treats family time as a first-class commitment; part of your job is protecting it like one. This is calendar and logistics support, not household management.
• Interim people and office administration. For your first several months, you will also carry a set of administrative duties we are building a permanent home for: new-hire onboarding logistics (equipment, accounts, first-day readiness), benefits paperwork follow-through, and general office administration. These duties are explicitly interim and will transition to our people function as it is built out. The executive support work above is the permanent core of this seat.

Who You Are

• You have supported a president, owner, or senior executive before, ideally in a fast-moving or growing company, and you know how to onboard yourself to a new executive quickly.
• You close loops without being asked. You have specific stories of times you saw something about to fall through the cracks and handled it before anyone knew it was at risk.
• You are comfortable with judgment calls. You would rather act on 80 percent information and adjust than wait for permission, and you know how to tell the difference between a call you can make and one you cannot.
• You are unflappable in ambiguity. We are a company building its systems while running at full speed; you find that energizing rather than frustrating.
• You are discreet. You will see compensation, personnel, financial, and strategic information daily, and you treat all of it as vaulted.
• You communicate clearly and professionally in writing, including drafting correspondence in someone else's voice.
• You are highly organized and technology-fluent: calendars, email, documents, spreadsheets, and the willingness to learn new tools quickly, including AI tools we use across the business.

What Success Looks Like in Year One

• Within 90 days, you run the President's calendar and inbox with minimal direction, and routine loops close without his involvement.
• Leadership team members trust you as the reliable path to get something onto the President's plate or off of it.
• The interim administrative duties have been documented and cleanly handed off to the people function as it comes online.
• The President's time measurably shifts toward the work only he can do, and company priorities stop stalling on his capacity.

Location and Schedule

This is a full-time, primarily on-site role based at our Elkhorn office, with occasional time at our Wahoo fabrication facility. The nature of the work requires being present with the people and problems you are helping manage.
